Mickey Lynn is a former systems engineer for Delta Airlines who decided to let her creativity and passion for jewelry help her start a new chapter in her life. Along with her partner Seth Shindeldecker, Mickey started this company in 2006. Since then, business has been great and her designs continue to become more stunning by the day. Mickey Lynn only uses all natural stones and many metals are recycled.  All are exclusive, unique, custom designed and hand-crafted in Mickey Lynn’s Atlanta studio and gallery.

This weekend, two of our sweet Willow girls are saying "I Do". They are both having destination weddings and since someone had to stay home and run the show at the stores, we stayed behind. We know they will both be beautiful brides, and can't wait to see their pics.

So I took a trip to Tulum Mexico last spring. Tulum is very cool, not temperature, but vibe. It's sort-of a bohemian eco-friendly beach town with fabulous food and drink!!! We went our exploring way deeper into Mexico than we probably should have, but we made it out alive and unhurt, and along the way ate the best guacamole and margaritas you've ever had in your life. Since Willow is never far from my mind, I wanted to check out their local markets. I was in search of Mexian-gypsy style dresses and blouses and I scored some loot! I got some great tops hand-made by these old ladies embroidered with beautiful yarns and lace. Selfishly I only grabbed a few for me a few for Willow. The Willow tops sold out in an hour. NEED to go back.

But in the mean time....there is always the amazing Jen's Pirate Booty!

We started carrying JPB a few years ago and when I first ordered the line, I asked the rep where she got the name. She said when Jen was on trip to Mexico she found all these clothes or loot and brought them back for her friends. Since pirate booty mean's the "pirate's loot" of goodies that they capture or find, Jen called her line, "Jen's Pirate Booty"! She seems like one cool chick with a fabulous life!!!!

Over the years.....

Today, May 3rd, Willow in Rosemary turns a big 5 years old!!!! Just a few short years ago, but oh how so much has happened!! Here is a little glimpse of our last 5 years. Be for-warned, this is the longest blog post ever, but just pics! and some really funny ones at that. Enjoy at our expense!

We enjoy very much what we get to do and feel like to 2 very lucky girls!

Rebecca Norman has become one of our favorite jewelry and handbag designers at Willow in Rosemary. We have been so lucky to have discovered her way back when and she is just a nice and grounded now as she was years ago.  We just received a new shipment at Willow two days ago and our customers are going crazy over her stuff! Rebecca grew up in Taiwan and has an Australian background. Her unique talent and cultural experiences are what keep her jewelry and handbags in such high demand by all of her fans. Well you know that Lauren Moffatt is one of fav designers in our stores. We love her for her amazing vintage school-girl inspired clothing. We love her for use of unique fabrics and texures and her exclusive prints designed by Lauren. We love her for keeping her line so small and exclusive....and hard to find!

We love that everytime we go to NY market, Lauren is there working the show, meeting with her accounts and telling each pieces's story. Lauren is so unassuming and real, just like her clothing.

Thankful....

Just 2 short years ago, our beloved gulf coast suffered one of the world's worst oil spill disasters on our fragile ecosystem and already seasonal economy. By the grace of God and much support and prayers from many giving people and loyal visitors, we are bouncing back and our coast is more beautiful that ever. On this beautiful gulf coast morning, we are so thankful to God!!!!!!!!!!
