Off we go...again! This time to New Orleans. Our beloved Chris Martin and the boyz had a concert in NO this past Tuesday. So, we came up with an excuse to make it a "Willow work" trip.
Tuesday was also the new girlCarolyn's 24th birthday; PYT (hate her.) We decided to take Carolyn and Paige along to keep us young. We had the best time.
Happy Birthday "Charealyn" Yummy dinner at NOLA.
Dancin in the streets. That IS Cindy, in Chloe, on Bourbon, dancin with some locals and in some $500 scoots....ain't she purty! We think so. (proud moment ;)
Next day:
First stop: Leontine Linens. Oh my...these hand-sewn Italian linens and their showroom took my breath away.
Next stop: Pied NuHome goods in front and this little tiny yet precious room full of goodies up some steps in the back. Kinda felt like some shop on a Caribbean Island. Cindy found more beautiful shoes...um, obsession???
Lunch Break: Lilette's
We have heard so much about this lil place, also on Magazine, but neither had ever been. There was a table full of the most fabulously dressed group of 12 women ladies (my "Know-Everything" grandmother always told me there was a huge difference between a woman and a lady, "A Lady is always a Woman, but a Woman is not always a Lady") whose outfits seemed perfectly coordinated!
We couldn't stop staring..in a good way!! Well, Peyton and Eli Manning's mother was at the table! She is so classy. The last guest to arrive fashionably late and take the head seat was one of our favorite Willow customers, Lise. Such a small world.
So she recommended we go to:
Next stop Perch
If you are in the market for something fun and funky for your house, this is the place. Although we have to say that we love our local store Tracery Interiors. It is a must stop while in Rosemary Beach.
Last, but best of all:
On our way out of town leaving Rosemary, we stopped by our designer friend's studio. She found Amanda on a blog and wanted us go meet Amanda. We value anything Erika says, so we made it a most important stop of our day.
Amanda is just lovely. She's SO pretty and has one of those personalities that you are immediately drawn to. Her art is wonderful, ccolorful and unique. She was way too humble about her talent. We hit it off so well that we all talked about her coming to Rosemary/Willow to do a show/party. How fun would that be? She has already planned the most delicious sounding cocktails...we want her here now!! Also new to the blogging world, check her out
Lastly, A picture that is worth a thousand words...
Until next time...
