Rebecca Norman has become one of our favorite jewelry and handbag designers at Willow in Rosemary. We have been so lucky to have discovered her way back when and she is just a nice and grounded now as she was years ago. We just received a new shipment at Willow two days ago and our customers are going crazy over her stuff! Rebecca grew up in Taiwan and has an Australian background. Her unique talent and cultural experiences are what keep her jewelry and handbags in such high demand by all of her fans. Here's a sneak peek at some of my favorites:
These are on my wish list...better yet, my need list!
All of her pieces are handmade in Southern California and one-of-a-kind. Rebecca is very aware of quality, uniqueness and pricing. Her pieces are classicly chic; and will therefore be in your closet or jewelry box for ever.
We wil put pics and more styles on our FB tomorrow. Check out our page for some must have pieces to go on your list!!!
because of this tiny 6" precious lil blessing, I am craving all things spicy
So if you are too or if you are having me over to your casa, maybe have these on hand.
You will thank me. OMG, delish. Morgan, I could kill you for introducing me to the jalapeno pretzel chips. One, because I finish off the whole bag in one day, and two, because you can only get them at Walmart (goes against my ban of ever having to visit Walmart).
Anybody have any other yummy things to share ?????
My two favorite fabrics...together at last. Cashmere and denim! Could it get any sweeter???
J Brand x L'Agence Collaborate on Cashmere Jeans!
Los Angeles denim brand, J BRAND, and international fashion brand, L'Agence, have launched a limited edition Cashmere Jean. This collaboration combined J BRAND's ever popular skinny silhouette with the downtown chic vibe of L'Agence. The cotton cashmere blend jeans have the perfect amount of stretch and an ultra soft feel to keep you warm and cozy.
At $300 a pop, they better be like butter...anyone tried these yet????
Been waiting for this special delivery for months! Just in time for the cold front on the way,I just can't wait to get my toes in a new pair of these moccasins!!!!!!
1. A soft boot made and worn by Eskimos.
2. A slipper with a soft sole resembling this boot.
(Antarctica or the beach, right?)
Come check them out this week while you're Thanksgiving shopping...they won't be around long.
(apparantly I'm not alone..these things are sold out everywhere)
Remember when UGGS where everywhere??? Maybe you wanted some but couldn't find them or thought they would be too trendy and you bought the knock-offs?? Well you quickly found out, there is nothing like the real thing. You may find some copycats of these, but they will just not be the same.
Come slip your toes in these at Willow.....see you soon!! xx -celia.
In the retail business, we are supposed to bring what's hot to you before you know it? Well as I sit here on this absolutely gorgeous Sunday in Seaside, Florida (in the store), I realize, it's time for us to decorate the stores for Christmas. I guess we put Christmas decorations up really early to remind you to get your Christmas shopping list started!!! Holy crap that came fast this year.
So, what to do to decorate??? Hmmmmm.... I always love something very natural. Branches (with a little gold spary paint) suit me just fine. Then I started looking at how beautiful Christmas can be.
Well I am inspired! I don't have the time or PATIENCE to do probably anything above, but Kav is taking me to cut down some treasures in the woods this afternoon. Stay tuned...maybe I'll put some pics up! I sure wish the Anthropologie window merchandiser could take a little visit here.
BTW....get started on your Christmas wish list! Here the first thing on mine. Love this coffee table book. hint hint.
If you read our blog on a regular basis (when we are really bloggin..sorry for being M.I.A.), then you know how much I adore Miss Kelly Wearstler. Or, if you have been to my house and seen Kelly Wearstler fabric in EVERY room..sometimes the same prints just in different color-ways; and even at Willow as decor from day 1, yup, kinda a fan.
uh huh....all those!! :)
In my opinion, and many many others, Kelly has mad crazy style. Well she has come out with her fashion line. Highly anticipate...you tell me if it was worth the wait......
I Love it. A little LA edgy meets a little NYC power girl. I can't wait to see her Spring collection with all the crazy colors she does so well. Prices seem to range from about $195-$595 mostly. You can check out her pieces and maybe even purchase one or two at Kellywearstler.com
Let me know what you think or if you already have some of her duds....
Who knows, maybe one day she will be at Willow (fingers-crossed)
Want to help the Willow girls name our new online store?!
(cindy has 3 babies on the brain and celia has the wedding planning stresses, so they need your help)
We know all of you Willow shoppers are oh-so creative, so we want your help picking out the perfect name for our NEW ONLINE STORE! This, of course, will not come without a reward :)

A few tips:
The new online store name doesn't have to have anything to do with the word "Willow".
Keep it light and easy to remember
It must be an available domain..(we can figure this out if you don't know how)
We will sell women's clothing, men's clothing, jewelry and shoes
Send us an email at Boutique.firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: "Online Contest". Entries are due by Monday, September 5th (Labor Day). We will announce the winner on Wednesday Sept 7th. Please provide your name, store name idea, and the best way to get in touch with you (in case you win or we decide to give you a lil treat for participating).
We are so excited to see what you all come up with...
Not that it is beginning to resemble fall anywhere in the US, but in our stores it is. Cashmere and fur are starting to arrive. Darker colors and boots are soon to follow. With Fall approaching this also means a familiar sadness Cindy and I feel every summer-end.
Our precious college girls who we just adore and appreciate so much are leaving.
Laurie and Abigail are our last 2 and leaving in a matter of days. They all arrive in late Spring and we put them quick to work. They have been awesome and we are so so sad to see them go. Back off to college, football games and parties....can't blame them.
So, we are in need of trying to replace them. We need all of you readers' help. If any of you live here or have friends who do, please put the word out that we are looking for girls in both our Rosemary and Seaside stores. Just some part-time gals for now. Send us an email or give Rebekah a ring:
