Hey Readers! We want you to be the first to know that we have changed our blog address! Please come visit the new blog to stay updated with the latest trends and all the haps that are going on at Willow Boutique!
Once we decided to start an instagram for Willow Boutique we quickly became hooked and have so much fun taking pics of new arrivals and filling you in with what's going on down here at the beach!! All of the Willow girls post pictures to our instagram and I've started to notice that everybody tends to lean toward one or two filters everytime. I thought it'd be fun to ask the girls what their favorite filter is so here it goes...
Celia: X-Pro II
Abbie (Me): Lo-Fi
If you don't already, follow us on instagram for the latest in fashion and upcoming trends.
This weekend, two of our sweet Willow girls are saying "I Do". They are both having destination weddings and since someone had to stay home and run the show at the stores, we stayed behind. We know they will both be beautiful brides, and can't wait to see their pics.

As you can see, we have been so so blessed over the past 5 years. Lots of new lives and relationships born, and so many new friends made. We are so thankful for our success at our stores and couldn't have done it without the hard work of all of our sweet Willow ladies over the years and you loyal customers. We enjoy very much what we get to do and feel like to 2 very lucky girls!
Last night we had our Willow Christmas party with all the gals. Sorry we have no pics..."someone" forgot to bring our brand spankin new camera. ;) Not that I could have even used it...it has 3 instruction books and 3 cds worth of who knows what. I am not even sure which one to start with.
Anyway, this year we all decided rather than exchange gifts among each other, that we could all come together and make a family have a very Merry Christmas. So we all brought gifts for 3 very special little ladies and family.
It was really so fun shopping for the family. All of us got so involved. I would like to encourage everyone to adopt a family for Chirstmas. You still have time. Even if you just run into one of the dollar stores and grab $20 worth of goodies (socks, notebooks, hairbrush, coloring books & crayons, shoes, sweater, books). These kids are not going to get anything under the tree. We can make thier day so happy and blessed.
We found the family through a church here who supports Caring and Sharing (if you are local), if not, you can call any church, soup kitchen, rehab faciitly or shelter. Please please spread the love this holiday season to others who are much less fortunate than us. If you don't have any extra cash, volunteer your time.
So almost every day or so, we play, "What is your favorite thing in the store today" game. Since our inventory is ever-changing daily...we want to play every day, and sometimes even multiple times. Ya know like dress up! (then we do play dress up with our favorite things and music) I swear, to all you husbands and soon-to-be husband, we DO REALLY WORK, hard!
Here are a few of our Willow girl's favorite things..today, June 24th: (do we need a drum roll..guess not)
Katie picked this Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent long silk dress in cobalt worn with a fabulous "piece of art" necklace by Petra. I have this same dress in red from a couple of seasons ago and I LOVE IT! Great at a wedding with heels or worn casual with a belt and flats. It is a dress that will be in your closet forever. The necklace is truly amazing with brass, leather, agate and ton's of semi-precious stones decorating the chain.
Obsessively clean Ollie:
Ollie chose this awesome top from brand new line Boyod. Boyod is all beaded tops and dresses at amazing prices. I think this hand-beaded top is under $200. Keep your eyes out for this line. Bracelet is croc cuff and vermeil gold by Nada Sawya and necklace is rosary style turq beads with brass cross by Ronda Smith Designs and Current Elliott skinnies.
Ever-changing her mind Celia:
I love the Guadalajara shorts by Kenny. I guess I am still stuck on my Tulum days, but I am loving all these hippie/south american style clothes. These are so fun! Put on a white tank, black blazer, heels and you are ready to go.
Hope all you girls have a good weekend. What is your favorite thing in your closet???? Send us a pic and tell us why!!!

Yesterday one of the Willow + Woods girls, Katie, and I were daydreaming about the Kimberly McDonald Jewelry from our post a couple of posts ago. We tried to justify somehow receiving one of her amazing pieces as a gift. It would have to be one of those "Christmas, birthday, Valentine's, Anniversary, Easter, St Patrick's, Columbus...oh, forget it!! Probably not going to happen for a while. So we sat and shared each other's pain as we coveted our favorite necklace.
Later that night, I checked my email for the 526th time that day and sweet Katie had sent me something very cool. She had already researched geod and agate jewelry and found this fabulous artist:
The stones are to die for and the prices are even better. Love love this stuff. I immediately contacted the designer and am so excited that she wants Willow to carry her jewelry line. Not only that, but some of her pieces will be in the store by next Tuesday!!! Can't wait to see it in person. Thanks Katie!!!! p.s. you can go here and meet Katie for yourself on her new blog.
Lastly, I don't know what is going on with me lately, but all I can seem to think about is jewelry jewelry jewelry (and brownies, but that is nothing new). I hope for the ole budget it stops soon. :)
**If you are interested in any of the pieces you see above, we do have a couple of pieces in stock!**
Today I am thankful for so many things. I have been up since very very early in the a.m. thinking about all of the things in my life for which I am so lucky. As I sit and watch the sunrise on this beautiful beach, I feel very thankful to live in this amazing beach town. I had to go through many life experiences, some great and some pretty painful, to get here. But when I walk out onto our white sandy beach and see God's creation in front of you for as far as you can see, it's pretty amazing.
I am thankful for my fast friendship with Cindy which allowed us to open Willow Rosemary almost 4 years ago. It have been a truly lovely ride. This spring we decided to spread our wings (just a lil bit) and open Willow + Woods in Seaside. It was a little more than a "stressful" summer...and the oil spill was just a cherry on top...but we made it!!!!
So today I want to say how thankful I am to all of our Willow girls who helped us tremendously along the way. They also put up with us on some CRAZY days!!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...TO ALL YOU SWEET GIRLS!!!!!
and Claire..sorry no pic!!
Cindy and I wish all of you girls a Happy Thanksgiving with your families!!!
