Look out Vogue

I know it has been months since we have blogged about our online store, but trust me, LOTS of work has being going on behind the scenes (thanks to Hillman Ball).  We are getting closer and closer to our launch date. A few days ago, we had a super duper photo shoot in Rosemary Beach by one of our favorite photographers, Tommy Crow.

By the way, if you haven't been by Tommy's studio in Rosemary, it's amazing. We are two lucky girls to have Tommy shoot us for our site.  I got to see the proofs today and he must have some kind of camera...they look fabulous. Can't wait to show all of you!!!! 

We also have to give a big thanks to Mindy and Shannon at Rolland's Salon in Seaside for our big hair and make-up!

 

 

 

Twins again at Willow???

 
Earlier this summer we reported that Willow was expecting "twins", thus Willow + Woods was born.

Irony has struck and  have another set of twins courtesy of 1/2 of Willow...it's official Cindy and Bryan are having TWINS!!!

This means that little cutie-pie Barron is going to have...

Willow's got babies all around. How precious is Ashley's new King Charles Cavalier puppy?!! She calls her Lucy and she is Pure Barre's new baby mascot!!
 Look out little baby girl Krutz, we will play dress up with you way too often at Willow!!!

We have been working on this for a while and can't wait until we open. Cindy and I are about to go mad with all we have cut out for us, but we promise, Willow + Woods will be fabulous.

Also, Friday night around 6:00, Santa comes to Rosemary on a real horse-drawn carriage to light all the Christmas trees. It is so beautiful and fun for the whole family. All the stores and restaurants will be open late serving drinks and snacks....FREE!!

I want this so badly I can't stand it...

This beauty is from Haute Hippie. It is both Cindy and my fav line of the moment. If we didn't live in the beautiful yet very casual beach town of Rosemary, our store would be stocked out with this line.  

 

 

Steppin out in Alys Beach

This past weekend was the now annual

'Noche de los Muertos'  Halloween Party at the Caliza Pool in Alys Beach. If you haven't ever been to the pool in Alys beach you need to make it happen. The first time you see it, you are utterly amazed.

So any chance we get, we scoot over to the pool, especially for a party. Well this party is easily becoming "the party" and from these colorful pics you can see why.
 

It was so much fun! Had to keep these pics PG-13, although there was a little bit of everything that showed up to party. I guess it is the one day of the year that all "fasion-do's and don'ts" are out the window!!

We love Alys, but will always come back to RMB!!

We heart Mary Katharine & Anna..

  
 

These two cute girls contacted us several months ago about hosting a Willow Trunk Show in Birmingham. We were so flattered that two girls who just shopped in Willow a few times wanted us to come into their homes and bring all our loot. As we got a little deeper into the show, I realized I knew both of them from the past. Mary Katharine and Anna's husband, Benton, went to school with me at Alabama!!! RTR

Anyway, they both fell in love with the Petra Jewelry that we carry exclusively....and that's how it all began. Anna's older brother came in Willow about a year ago and bought her a Petra ring and soon after Mary Katharine's husband got some for her; so sweet. Ok, now to Oct 1st in Birmingham at Anna's pad.

How beautiful!!! Cindy and I were just a tiny bit apprehensive about barging into Anna's home with a truckload of clothes, racks, jewelry and ourselves. Mary Katharine and Anna could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. Here are some pics:

{Shhhh...Sneak Peaks for Spring}

The 'Girls' are at Coterie in New York this week to place our 2010 Spring and Summer orders. Even though we're getting geared up for cooler weather, sweaters and boots 'round here, we always have to be one step ahead of the game. It's kind of exciting to know what to expect for the upcoming seasons before anyone else does! So I thought I'd share a little of the excitement with y'all...shhhh...it's a secret!

Looks like there's alot of glitz and glamour in the forecast for 2010! Their first stop this morning was the coveted Tory Burch booth, check out all the sparkle...

They have assured me that these pieces are gorgeous in person!

Proven Bodies...

When you join the glamorous fashion industry there is a term one will quickly become familiar with. It is 'proven body.' It's pretty self-explanatory; A silhouette that has proven to be a good fit in season's past. Obviously a selling point for a buyer. Sometimes we wonder whose body they are trying to prove, and then sometimes they are dead on.

When a girl throws on a tee she just wants to be comfy, but still wants to look cute. This top captures all this and then some.
